Summary

With "Red Rock Journeys" Illenberger leaves no hesitation surrounding his notability as a stockfish a musician, Ralf Illenberger deservedly can undoubtedly be counted among the greats of acoustic guitar music (performing since as far back as the '70's in a duo with Martin Kolbe on the stockfish label). Ralf Illenberger, who has sold over 400,000 albums and has successfully performed to audiences in concerts in over 50 countries. He currently lives and works in Sedona, Arizona, a place whose natural beauty is attributed to spiritual power. "Red Rock Journeys" is in a sense the real "Illenberger" formed from exactly that balance between earthy sound and airy heights. Between solid craftsmanship and the ability to transcend borders.

The listener is drawn into into a musical escape to netherworlds, allowing you to quietly dream, only to be brought back to reality with amazing drive. The listener is invited to into the magic of Ralf Illenbergers' Sedona: A well-built house with large windows for light and great views of the landscape - both internal and external.

Ralf Illenberger talks about this project: "Red Rock Journeys - a collection of guitar pieces perceived in the scenic "Red Rocks" of Sedona (Arizona, USA) I have lived in Sedona for many years, returning to the cod-Studio (Northeim, Germany) to complete the works after which we re-recorded - in Morez"
